For those who don't know me, here's a little more about my blog.

• My kids amuse me and often say and do things that I don't expect. I like to document some of those times here, such as The Turkey Incident.

Sometimes things get a little wild.

• I post about ideas and opportunities for families to serve their communities together at The Family Quilt. I have an education and learning blog at Treasure Seekers. Here the kids are doing some candy math.
  

• I'm a Lostie and usually post a lot about that during the (much too short) LOST viewing season, either on my blog or on the blogs of others. If you have any good theories or observations about the show, let me know.
  

• I love reading books, reviewing books, and participating in reading challenges, despite my reading mood swings that usually keep me from completing my lists without a lot of additions and deletions. Last year I hosted The Christy Challenge and interviewed Lisa Samson, Mary DeMuth, and Robin Jones Gunn. I plan to host this reading challenge, which features excellent Christian fiction and authors, again in a few months.
